The Story
----------------

Before long, when the brothers soon grew up and they went beyond naivety, Noir and Sol split apart.

The god of life: Sol, had become jealous of his brother as the mortal realm grew more tiresome and bleak while the afterlife bloomed and grew in joy. He did not understand why the mortals preferred death and its domain more than his world, why life was detested while death was celebrated. 

Entrenched in jealousy, it was too late for the god of life to notice the signs of illness in him. His envy amplified, his possessive nature ten-fold. He aimed his sights upon his creator, the goddess Xo.

He trapped her, chained her to him as he fed upon her power and the ichor which gave him life. Tainted by the illness and driven egotisical, Sol set his sights for his brother and the souls.

Unfortunately, Noir was no fool. Having noticed the signs of corruption in his realm, how the spirits became drains and the sky no longer purple but a dull grey- he brought his best weapon to defeat his brother. 

The Sun must set, one way or another.
